Internal engineering test — not an EN, ASTM, CPSC or medical certification.

What are we testing?

Can repeated adult movement cause the full-width topper to move enough to expose an underlying mattress join or create a meaningful perimeter gap?

Why this test matters

Method basis

Co-sleeping.com internal protocol using a documented 90 kg distributed body load moved laterally through a fixed travel distance for 500 cycles, on a bed fully assembled according to normal instructions.

Planned procedure (draft protocol)

  1. 1Mark all four topper corners and reference points.
  2. 2Apply the documented 90 kg distributed load at the fixed starting position.
  3. 3Move the loaded form laterally through the predefined travel, at consistent speed.
  4. 4Record topper position at 0 / 100 / 250 / 500 cycles.
